Advice for parents, teachers, mentors. When a student consistently has a poor grade. Ask questions and make it a goal to find the root cause. Do they have support at home? Is the material taught in a way that is different from their learning style? Is there a distraction? Are they managing your time wisely? It may take time, but finding the root cause and tackling it will help propel the student to better success.
