Marius’s Study Tip.
“Active learning and Repetition”
It is always great to read multiple books on a certain topic. You can read every book, watch every video, listen to every podcast, attend every lecture and mistakenly think that is enough to master the information.
That intake of information will only carry you so far. I consider that the passive phase of learning.
The KEY…..Is to apply that which you take in by doing practice problems and questions.
As a result, you will develop the acumen to determine what’s really important and most likely to be asked regarding a certain topic, “AKA” the high yield points.
One thing to remember is that there are only a limited number of ways that a topic can be tested or a question asked.
The more questions you expose yourself to while studying, the more likely you will come across similar questions if not verbatim. (This has happened to me in a national board exam)
The application and repetition will help you become a better test taker, learn how to manipulate information and dissect the important key points in a question.
This will help improve your proficiency.
Supplement your passive learning with active learning, knock out as many questions as you can.
Best wishes and be your own best self!
